Yes was fun (except the slippery cold start of pitch one where we tried to help a girl that finally bailed). Color saturation of the (rare) Nikkor 45/2.8 pancake I used in fact is unique. I am happy not having sold that lens when I did go digital.

with my luck I'd get captured with some embarassing detail such as the rope behind one leg - if I fell like that I'd be flipped over head-first ! He looks to be in a pretty secure-looking stance though...

Nuts (and slings) usually work quite well in the Cortina region, and they are cheaper ;-)
But we had some cams the next days at harder routes at the Col de Bois.
