Climbing the Amphulapcha La
Just 100m below the Amphulapcha La, on the Hongu side. You have to kind of zigzag the terrace glacier. Just one tricky step, a little ice chimney. A rope can help but ice was very good. If you traverse from Khumbu to Hongu you might want to rappel here. October 2006.
