Climbing the ice ramp towards the Rognon on the Frendo Spur. The Aiguille du Midi Telepherique station is perched on the right-hand summit. July 2005.

Hasn't voted | We went left - the ice kicks up nicely to ~75 degrees in places on the last pitches.
There is, of course, also the option of going straight over the Rognon on the rock at approx 6a grade.
Awesome route, whichever way you do the finish!
