Voted 10/10 | Mont Blanc is on the left I think and moving to the right the faint (remote) one peeking over some others apparently closer to M.B. rather than Matterhorn is Weisshorn. Hasn't voted | I got interested in this case. Therefore I took a picture from Barre des Ecrins two days later that has a wider angle and navigated with dental floss on my road map. Barre is higher so you can see more mountains there and compare them better: You may be right with Weisshorn, but what you think is Montblanc is in fact Grand Casse and for your Dent d’Herens I would guess Aiguille de la Grande Sassière (it is apparently much nearer than Matterhorn!). Voted 10/10 | Thanks, I had no idea your picture subtended such a small angle- after the zoom. I have a book atlas but it gives out just east of the G. Combin.
