Cloud Falls on Denali

Clouds flow over the Kahiltna Dome like a huge waterfall in the sky. Weather watching was the key to the climb and the icing the cake for the trip. This is shot from the lower end of the 14,200 foot base camp on Denali. This was the top of the journey for many parties. Most didn't have the schedule or the patience to enjoy such delights or to push on for the summit.
