Coast below Biokovo massif....

Coast below Biokovo massif. This is famous Vrulje bay seen from the Adriatic Road. On the other side of the bay, just by the shore, you can notice circle on the surface of the sea. That is Vrulja, under sea water source. It is believed that this water comes from Cetina river. On the bottom is 100m deep opening/hole through which water leaves the ground. You can imagine the pressure of the water if it can reach the surface with such strength to make it look like it is boiling. Density of the sea doesn't slow it down to much. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic

Nice one....

OT: you should try scuba-diving at Vruja bay, it is such beautiful and unforgettable experience. ;)

Re: Nice one....

Thanks Sinisa! Well I didn't have time to devote to diving since there is so much in the mountains to do :-) Maybe one day. But I saw how it looks in the Dubine/Depths series of Stipe Bozic and the dive into the hole of Vrulja. It is really amazing and scary I must admit. Tonci Najev is crazy diver. Where he has been for the series is unbelievable. Not many divers in the world can say they have dived in such environment.

Re: Nice one....

You know hot it can be in the mountains of Dalmatia during the summer season. So I prefer to climb early and dive after. ;-) I must admit I'm a bit jealous of all those people filming beautiful landscapes and underwater surreality, like Stipe Bozic and Josko Bojic and Tonci Najev. You do what you enjoy and get paid for that. It can't get better than that. :D
