Colonial Peak

A view of Colonial Peak from the highway. I wish I had better pictures from high up on the ridge but I forgot to check my camera batteries before leaving! Pyramid Peak is the prominent point on the right with Paul Bunyan's Stump behind. The route to Snowfield follows the tree covered ridge to the base of Pyramid peak, then traverses south to the col between Pyramid and Colonial. Picture was taken in August 2007 after an attempt on Snowfield Peak.
