Bill, it WAS a very busy week, but a very good one at that. Things really couldn't have gone any better. Thanks for the kind words, and glad you enjoyed the photos. Hopefully we can have that beer together next July! Mark
i know the feeling...when you only have one trip all year out west you want to at least get a few worthwhile peaks in...beyond just typical sawatch talus slogs. I had the same anticipation as you did pre N Maroon too...wasn't worried about the chimney, but was scared of the 2nd gully
I referenced your TR for North Maroon a number of times so was familiar your pre-climb concerns. For me, more so than the 2nd gully was that climb up the cliff bands to the ridge crest.
Weather wise we got pretty lucky, so I was fortunate to get the three peaks I wanted - plus all the others. Good to hear from you. Look forward to more of your Utah submittals.
Happy Trails, Mark
Thanks Alex! I typically spend a lot of time trying to pick out what I believe are good peaks to go after. I was pretty happy with my choices! Glad you like enjoyed the photos. Mark
