Comstock Mine area, Phelps Canyon.

This photo was taken while checking out the Comstock Mine are in Phelps Canyon, above Park City, Utah. The mine area was fairly large, huge tailings piles everywhere. Seems silver ore was a staple ore from the Wasatch back in the day. Taken during a mountain bike tour up from Park City to the summits of Jupiter Hill and Tri-County Peak, August 2011.
