Maker and exact date yet unknown. From an antique shop in Switzerland. Said to be a military man's axe. Triple riveted head. Length to follow (about 90cm) Very similar to a model H9551-1 made by Leonhard Kost produced in 1910. http://www.dhub.org/object/257630,insight Also said to be similar to Stubai - though no engraving visible.
