Considerably closer to the mountain...

We've covered maybe an hour since the mountain first came into view, resulting in a constantly improving perspective on the actual peak, and the goat trail we'll be following from the saddle to where it wraps around the mountain—which is the approximate point at which we begin climbing through cliffs.
