Copper and Zinc
The route up Keystone Canyon passes an old mine. There are many very thin coatings of copper carbonates and silicates, coloring some rocks bright green or blue. However, it is likely the ore was in the duller copper oxides at upper left, or in the ZnS-CuFeS2-sulfate like the sample at lower left.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
