DelimitersHi, I would be interested in reading your references for subdivision of the Cordillera Oriental, there doesn't seem to be much hard and fast stuff out there, at least not in English. Also, you may wish to hyperlink the listed Reventador item to the corresponding page.

New climbing policy for EcuadorWarning to climbers planning to climb without a guide-following two recent accidents the Ministerio del Medio Ambiente now (as of November 2012)requires all climbers to hire an Ecuadorian guide in order to climb. I even showed them my guide certification and experience as a high mountain guide in Chile and they still wouldn´t let me climb. I wish someone had posted this information a month or two ago and saved me the plane tickets to Ecuador.....
