I am Czech, but lived in the US for the past 14 years. Going home tomorrow for a few weeks.
I loved the mountains in Peru...and chewing on coca leaves - haha.

I really like the color of the lakes behind you. However, the peak itself demands the focal point. Truly amazing area!

It is a great place to climb - so many beautiful peaks...and cheap. It was my solo expedition. I hired a guide and a cook.

I just used a local guide through the office in Huaraz, also hired a cook. It was very cheap.
There are many guides waiting for "business", it will not be difficult to find someone.
