Cornhusk Lilies
A 9000' high meadow on Black Mountain. These plants are False Hellebore, aka Cornhusk Lily. (Thank you to Lee Stamm for the identification.) They grow 3-6' tall, often in dense patches like this. The plants are poisonous to livestock. June 4, 2005.
