| I preferred to climb the easier Via Normale rather than Sivitilli Couloir, because of the risk of fog on the top and the trouble of find the descent route... Many snow, but not so good: warm temperature even at dawn! | |

| We were out to climb Sivitilli couloir, but we had to give up because of an heavy snow-fall, when we were few meters under Ventricini trail... Still winter conditions in Gran Sasso range, with a lot of hard/packed snow since an height of 1600/1700m on northern side... The Corno Piccolo north face is loaded with many snow, we hope we can climb it in the next weeks | |

| several times on top of our "flames of rock". Great summit, very pleasant ascent on via ferrata Ventricini and Danesi. | |
