Snow, snow, and more snowAs my XTerra was in the shop, I drove my Prius out to the road leading to the trail head, but parked about a half mile from the highway, thus adding 2.6 miles to the round trip. We went up the gully and almost immediately began running into patchy snow. By 6000 patchy had given way to persistent. We ultimately found the summit by the north face, which was a mistake, as the snow was the deepest here. Coming down was easier. 12.1 miles round trip.

Nice place to exploreThis is beautiful country to explore, especially in the winter/spring.
