Hasn't voted | Ryan, is that a doable route up Red Cliff Mountain. Looks a bit loose but I really can't determine that for sure. What do you think? | | Posted Feb 23, 2004 7:55 pm |

Hasn't voted | I've seen this angle before. It certainly looks doable to me-if you like typically loose San Juan talus. | | Posted Feb 23, 2004 8:18 pm |

Hasn't voted | I know it is a doable route because the day Kirk and I climbed Coxcomb, a couple climbed Redcliff that exact way. I believe that Kirk has climbed Redcliff from that direction. I think Aaron is right though because it does look like a typical San Juan shifting pile of slag ascents | | Posted Feb 24, 2004 4:26 pm |

Hasn't voted | The slope seen here is the "standard" route for Redcliff and probably the only easy route. I believe all other sides of the peak have, well, big red cliffs. I think this photo makes that slope appear steeper than it is. I don't recall the talus being particularly miserable. | | Posted Feb 24, 2004 6:03 pm |

Voted 10/10 | The route up Redcliff is a fairly straight forward but steep Class 2 route. A short loose talus section just below the Redcliff/Coxcomb saddle is manageable. Posted the Redcliff page last fall that details this.
Good luck. I'd love to see someone else sign the Redcliff summit log! | | Posted Mar 28, 2006 3:28 am |
