thanks for your kind words. It really is very picturesque. It formed on the bottom of a huge caldera after the volcanoe Mount Mazama erupted and collapsed in about 6000BC.

thanks. Picture straight from the camera; no editing. Crater lake in fact is famous for its deep blue color.
