Re: Scale !!

a great route it is...if you do make it to western US for a climbing trip, this area & route should not be missed (11 pitch, 5.8 or ~UIAA V+ I think). cheers.

Re: Scale !!

You have "high hopes" for me. But then again, I've never believed that I have limits. Even though my winter climbs have been on modest routes, they were solo and without crampons, which changed the whole game. So, I just need to get back into rock and I'll be enjoying my +55 yrs.

Re: !

thank you very much Christine - just a lucky time & place.

All the questions & emails to you and Kevin and ultimately looks like we missed the Mali window by about 3 months :(

...hopefully things will calm down in a decade or so. Many thanks again for all the helpful beta (& the original inspiration!!). Cheers. radek

Re: !

I heard from Kevin - I'm so sorry about it. Political instability/tumult delayed my plans for Syria as well; the climbing and culture there is supposed to be amazing too! I hope you guys realize your Malian dreams...it really was the most spectacular trip I've taken in my life. All the best and safe climbing!
