Crimson Columbine
I took this photo in Mazie Canyon. This Columbine was growing in a pretty and moist environment among lots of moss.
The Crimson Columbine (Aquilegia formosa) is also often called Western Columbine.
It is native to western North America.
Spring Mountains, Nevada. August 2007.
