On the summit plateau of Monte Piana / Monte Piano there are still many remains from the World War I. The area is arranged today as an open air museum. This must had been the views of soldiers 100 years ago - nice mountains, probably also to them symbolizing freedom, which was behind all kinds of barbed wires. August 14th, 2016.
