Cuerno sits at the end of the Plaza de Mules approach. At 17,716 ft (5400 m), Cuerno makes for some good ice scrambling on one of your acclimatization days. It's also a beautiful site at sunrise. The well beaten trail climbs steeply through the switchbacks during the last mile of the approach.
