I took this shot just before I jumped in that lake. The Peaks are Mt Whitney and Russell. Its on the Bighorn Plateau. I was there on June 15th 2006. Check out how dry it was. There should have been 3 feet plus of snow at that 12,000 foot level. The lake which has no name sits right at the top but it is shallow and was WARM. It was 745 when I shot this. I had no towel and didnt need one. One of those special Sierra Golden moments!!!!!!!!!!!
