Darkside of the Moon

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Darkside of the Moon
The NW Face of Half Moon forms a steep 500' long Dihedral. The N Ridge starts from the deep notch (just left of photo center) and continues S to the summit. The first pitch and a half of climbing on the N Ridge route is on eroded rock. Above that the rock is of good quality and there are adequate belay ledges. Photo from approach on upper Early Winters Creek.
