DATE AND TIME: 031307, 1425; LOCATION: About 12 miles west of San Luis - taken from along Costilla County Road 10, about 3/4 mile south of C-142 (milepost 22); CAMERA: Olympus SP-500 UZ, 6 megapixel, 10x optical, 5x digital; DESCRIPTION: A mid-afternoon panorama of the west side of the Culebra Range and the Sangre de Cristos of southern Colorado. This panorama is bookended by Trinchera Peak (extreme left) and Purgatoire Peak (far right). Culebra Massif is located at around the right 1/3 of the panorama. There are a BUNCH of 13ers between Trinchera Peak and Culebra Massif that are hard to identify. Click on the image for a larger view, then click again for a larger panning version.
