LOCATION: From along a hillside along NM-578 (milepost 3), between Red River and Wheeler Peak Village;
CAMERA: Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, 10x optical, 3x digital, 3.2 megapixel;
DESCRIPTION: Like from the tops of Bobcat Pass and the Red River Pass dirt road, it is the summits of Mt. Walter and "Point 13,045", NOT Wheeler Peak, that are seen in this photo. You can see the highway on the bottom left hand corner of the photo. Mt. Walter is the shaded lump that is right of center and a bit in the distance, and "Point 13,045" is just to the right of the shaded Mt. Walter.

Here is a closer view.

Old Mike Peak (13,113') is the distant peak on the left 1/4 of the photo.
