DATE AND TIME: 122404, 1207; LOCATION: From along NM-522 just south of San Cristobal (will inquire the milepost numbers later); CAMERA: Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, 10x optical, 3x digital, 3.2 megapixel; DESCRIPTION: A snowy view of the peaks in the Latir Peak Wilderness, facing NE. You can see the D.H. Lawrence turnoff on the lower 1/3. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Virsylvia Peak (12,529') is on the left 1/3, while Cabresto Peak (12,448') is the large peak to the right of Virsylvia Peak. Pinabete Peak (11,948') is slightly left of center, in front of and between Cabresto Peak and Cabresto Sur Este (a.k.a. "Point 12,456" and/or "Mt. Questa"), which is situated at the right 1/3. Baldy Mountain (12,046') is the large peak to the far right in the distance. Venado Peak, which can be seen from just west of Cerro, is hidden behind Cabresto Peak. Thanks to attm for helping me with the peak identification.
