David where we dead-ended on a serac in the icefall. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | | Brian Jenkins | Re: Very nice | |
Hasn't voted | Thanks, appreciate the nice words. There were some big crevasses for sure. I would imagine unless we get a dumping, it'll be wide open come August. But who knows, I've heard that it is not until April that we usually have our greatest snowpack so maybe it'll get better. Wouldn't count on it though. | | Posted Mar 7, 2005 4:32 pm |

Voted 10/10 | We ran into some pretty big crevases on the way up and down from Liberty Ridge. Most we went around, one we jumped. That was fun. :) | | Posted Dec 5, 2006 4:52 pm |

| JoelSkok | Sure, it is a great picture | |
Voted 10/10 | ....but what i really appreciate is the effort it took to take the gloves off, fumble with the camera, rescue the lens cap that almost slid into the gaping crevasse, restock the deloh bag, dig in your crampons on a sharp pinnacle to be steady to compose your shot---all the while your partner is shielding his growing impatience. ...And repeat this sequence umteen times in a day...(anyway it would be like that if it was my brother and me) Great picture | | Posted Jun 3, 2012 10:47 am |
