Day Hike Above Upper Refuge Hut

My father, Papa, and my brother, Ralf, on a day hike above the upper refuge in September 2001. We were working on altitude acclimation and wanted to gather information from other hikers in the hut. Chimborazo was dangerous that year due to lots of ash on the mountain from the nearby erupting Tungurahua.
