A trip to Escalante and Canaan Peak

There are two Canaan Peaks in southern Utah. This is the one near Escalante (to the west) and doesn't have a page up on Summitpost at this time. By storing my pics here it will allow me to potentially put together a page while I am elsewhere other than home. This is one of the top 100 prominence peaks in Utah and comes in at number 93.

We stayed the evening at the Kodachrome Basin State Park. Kodachrome Basin SP is very close to Canaan Peak (almost below it)so it was a good choice to camp there.

This was on the third day of our road trip. (Day one is up as an album as is day four with day two being developed).
