Great views!

This was my first time into the Northern Absaroka or Beartooths area and I gotta say I was missing out! The summit view from Dead Indian was the best I have seen.

Re: Great views!

Great job, guys! Maybe next time I'm out there we can go after Sunlight Peak if you haven't done it already by then.

Tim, I'm guessing you guys used the same crossing of Sunlight Creek we did in the past. Was the creek just as deep as ever?

Re: Great views!

Thanks Bob! We both were looking at Sunlight - it would be a great trip to do maybe next year. Yes, the creek was probably deeper than ever - I couldn't even see the bottom - maybe you can drive it through with a monster truck in October or something!

Jealous

Had my eye on that mountain since 1976, when I first bought the maps to try to plan a trip. Sihler's photos had rekindled interest, and yours are adding fuel to the fire.

Re: Jealous

If you can deal with the misery of the approach, the summit is worth it!

Worth it!

It's a long trek but the views are worth it alone! Really wild country out there.
