Deer Mtn - upper NW Ridge

This is the upper portion of the NW Ridge route on Deer Mountain. This was taken appx halfway up the ridge. The route stays on or just right of the ridge crest and involves some short sections of Class 2+ scrambling. If you climb in the morning you will be heading directly for the sun, as a result most of my ascent images are washed out. Aug 26, 2007.
