Descending to the Notch
After leaving Powell Peak I descended into the gulley on the SE side then traversed the grassy ledge(labeled and I cairned it) which leads directly to McHenry notch. Note that the gulley is loose but requires no route finding(the ridgeline does). 9-3-06.
