What's in a name?

I thought this flower was called Globe Mallow . . .

Thank you :) I was taking pictures of the mallow then decided to sit down (ouch, the desert floor can be sharp and prickly! lol) and shoot it from there and up with the sky as a backdrop. The sun beam was unexpected but really added to the pic I think!
