Difficult rock on the route...

heather14 clings to difficult rock on the attempt up a narrow gulley below the Grand Traverse ridge. We decided this was beyond our level of safety, since we did not have ropes to protect against a long fall. This was our turn-around point, and we descended about 50' to a better route. Aug. 12, 2008
