When to climb?Climbing can be done all year round.
While the routes in the pass tend to dry longer after rainfall the slate can be dry after 15 minutes on a windy hot day ...How do I get thereFrom the south:
Fallow the A5 from Birmingham north to Capel Curig. Here you turn to the left until you can turn right to Llanberis.
From the north:
Take the A55 from Liverpool to Bangor and follow the signs to Llanberis
From Llanberis it is impossible to ignore the quarries. Large carpark at the mining centre. The entrance of the Vivian Quarry is next to this parking lot. Classical routes (TRAD!)Overview of the biggest classics in the quarries, listed by grade.
