Thanks, Klaus! Perhaps you have some information about skiing by northern slopes. From the summit they looked steep, but were not seen completely. It's also not in my tour skiing guidebook.
Thank you for this nice page! I think it would be also good for travellers to know that Dobratsch is also known as "Villacher Alpe", which means the Alp of the town Villach. Therefore the road up to the mountain is called "Villacher Alpen Straße". You will find some roads prefering "Villacher Alpe" instead of "Dobratsch".
I'd like to share a link to a new webcam with you. It is placed at Rosstratte (1723m asl). It shows the last parking lot and a view to the west. I appreciate that there is now a webcam on Dobratsch also. The most valuable advantage for me personally is to check out the snow conditions without driving up the mountain :)
