Dome de Neige des Ecrins

Normal route of the Dome July 10. Longer and slightly more difficult than usual (??PD rather than the usual F+) due to the presence of serac fall and crevasses. The route starts from the bottom right of the mountain traversing left over the serac bands to the normal route of the traverse of the Barre, up the ridge before (icey with fixed rope when we did it), traversing r again beneath the schrund to the pic lorry and then onto the summit. Descend the same way.
