| I tried to follow the South Chute route described here, but up near the summit, I must have found some variation since I don't recall seeing or traversing the ledge shown in several photos here. Returning, I traversed to Gould and went back via Kearsarge Pass. | |

| Wanted to dayhike East Vidette but the weather was unstable with rain already in the morning. Climbed Gould instead and continued on to Dragon. Tried Kearsarge Peak as well but got turned back below Lilley Pass by thunder and strong rain. | |

| CAB and I took a few different routes to the top which made for some interesting climbing. Was a ton of fun and different from most of the other climbs I have done. A little out of shape on this one so cross to Gould took much longer then it should have. | |

| Climbed from Onion Valley with cdewhurst. Relatively easy, solid, low-angle climb from the unnamed lakes up to the ridge. The ridge traverse over to the summit was a lot of fun. Missed the ledge near the summit on the way up and ended up climbing a little bit to the left of where it was. Awesome views from the top! Weather was pretty cold (low-mid 40's) but great for climbing. Went across the ridge to Mt. Gould afterwards. | |

| Long day. Left my house at 3 am drove to Onion Valley and started hiking by 7:30. Tons of talus and boulder hopping above the unnamed lakes up to the South Chute. Climbed up the chute and wasn't comfortable so came down the chute. Then weaved my way up the class 2/3 rock to the South Ridge then up from there. Spicy moves near the summit. Rained a bit on then way down, just enough to get things wet. | |

| South Ridge with Harish and Kimberly. An early afternoon thunderstorm chased us from the summit. Instead of downclimbing the now wet and lightening-exposed ridge we descended into a chute which basically cliffed out beneath a chimney. We climbed back up a bit and descended the next gulley over. | |

| My good buddy Demetri and I climbed this in springtime with the bulk of the approach being on snow. Lots of fun. The traverse on the ledge is pretty cool. | |
