| Views are good of Hidden Lake, but probably better from Reynolds. Also from Reynolds, Dragon's Tail looks amazing. You can do just part of the tail and get most of the experience. | |

| Nearly cloudless skies most of the day, which began with temps in the 30s and the first snow of the year just barely feathering the higher peaks in the park. Fun route; the goat trail is lively enough to hold your attention and the way up to the ridge is a fun scramble. Great views all around. We watched hordes of people trekking up and down Reynolds but only met two other climbers on the Dragon's Tail. Great hike. | |

| 2012 with Moni on a beautiful but hot day. 4 Sep 2009 with Vernon Garner (Saintgrizzly) - a very fun scramble from the ledge to ridge top. Note - We used the ledge shown in THIS PHOTO by FlatheadNative, not the one shown on the main page. This ledge is also marked by cairns and was marked with flagging. The trail on this ledge leads to a spot on the first large couloir that can be easily crossed and does not match the description in Edwards. | |

| Another great day climbing. I was not a big fan of the goat trail, but I loved the cliffs. Six of us were greeted at the summit by a friendly goat. Thanks to the route description and photos in the book "Climb Glacier National Park. | |

| Minimal scree, an exposed traverse, sweet class 3 cliffs...what more could you want? Missed a climbing partner and could've done without the obnoxious tourist hordes on the Hidden Lake boardwalk...other than that, a fantastic day at Logan Pass. We also used the excellent route photo by Flatheadnative showing the CORRECT ledge to traverse (not the photo on the main page) that Fred Spicker mentions in his climber's log. | |

| Great day in the park. Fun and easy climb to the top of the ridge and nice walk to the summit. Had to pretty much run down the Hidden Lake Trail before I was surrounded by walls of tourists. Climbed with Rebelgrizz. | |

| Unexpectedly pleasant mountain—much nicer summit than I had anticipated (that's not the mountain's fault, but my sometimes idiotic preconception of things)! Followed the goat trail along the east face, then did the very-nice-and-fun cliff ascent beginning immediately prior to reaching the first couloir (the description of which is one instance where the Edwards' book gets it wrong). Windy and cold on top with spitting rain meant we had to touch the summit and flee, though, as a line of squalls was coming our way; too bad, because an hour or so later the weather would have been fine! Nice views of Gunsight Mountain, Sperry Glacier, and the glaciers around Blackfoot Mountain and Mount Jackson. And also nice views of...(well okay, that sort of thing's a given in this area). Climbed with Fred Spicker; as usual, a very nice outing! | |

| Yep. great day. Climbed again 8-7-2010 After summitting DT we Traversed on the eastern side toward Sperry Glacier Basin then to "Surprise" Pass and then to Hidden Lake Outlet and Logan Pass after part of the group summitted Bearhat. It is a very interesting descent off of Dragon's Tail. | |
