Dutchman Route
Thanks for the beta. There's not much info on Dutchman Peak out there. I went out to the Madison Range to climb just Dutchman - not the Echo-Dutchman-Hilgard Traverse. The NE slopes that Turiano talks about do go, but they are not the easiest route to the summit.
We started at Sentinel Creek TH. Once in the basin near Dutchman we climbed up to the col between Dutchman and Hilgard and then walked up the rocky/grassy south face to the summit. It was very straightforward - maybe class 3. For our descent we descended the NE Couloir that drops down just below the summit block - steep and loose but doable.
