The summer trail is on the right, the winter trail – marked with wooden poles – on the left. The upper part of the old trail climbing to the top of Wielki Szyszak/Vysoké Kolo, which can be regarded as the "normal route", runs left of the centre of this (eastern) side of the mountain.
