"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

ELB Ridge TraverseThis was a great ridge traverse with some fun and exposed sections. With a team of seven were able to complete 3/4 of the one mile traverse before reaching our turn around time.

5.5 "Eagle" routeLead two and a half pitches to the summit, followed by Samantha and Ryan. Awesome crack climbing on beautiful Tuolumne-like rough granite. Great Views of Lake Tahoe and snow-laced Desolation Wilderness peaks.

5.5 routeA challenge for a first crack-dominated climb period (let alone /leading/ your first crack climb). Did the whole thing in 2 pitches. The summit ridge is fun! No one else around on a Saturday... lovely views.

Route Climbed: Mountaineer's Route Date Climbed: November 20, 2005I was nursing a hangover, but it didn't matter. The beautiful fall weather, superb setting and good friends made the climb a wonderful experience (again).
