Now that is a

terrific shot of Eagle Mtn, the best I've seen. I've always wanted to climb this one but haven't been able to get to it yet.

Thanks Dean. I shot this one on our return drive from unsuccessful attempt of Pyramid Peak (we took the wrong ridge.. long story). This sunset shot was my consolation. The next day we climbed Eagle Mountain and my mood greatly improved.

I hope you get to do this one soon. You will enjoy it. If you feel like it you can check out my whole slideshow of our hike:Eagle Mtn on 03-30-06 I made friends with a baby chuckwalla on the way up. There was also a pair of falcons living in one of the cliff faces. The final climbs to the summit were so much fun. I would do this one again for sure.

I understand very well about taking the wrong ridge and not getting a peak, I had that very thing happen two weeks ago on Black Crook Mtn in Utah. My son and I took the wrong ridge and ended up not getting the peak. Great slideshow, thank you for the link.
