Looking up at the west side of East Peak from the bottom of the East Fork Wallowa River canyon. It is possible to scramble up from here, but it would be a difficult time. Better to continue up the canyon and hike up the more gentle slopes on the west side of Hidden Peak. October 2004

I like this one

Nearly all of the east peak pictures are taken from the high ridgelines and there are a lot of good ones, but imo this is the best picture of the mountain.
