East Ridge of Sunrise as seen from the summit of Dromedary

Photo taken on May 6, 2008. Between Dromedary and Sunrise one must descend to a notch at 10,660'. The Sunrise summit towers to 11,275', so the boot tracks in the picture represent a little over 600' of fairly steep ridge climbing. If the snow is soft like it was for us, some sections can be quite taxing. Thank goodness for the beauty of it all.
