Elbrus can be a treacherous...
Elbrus can be a treacherous mountain - sudden storms can hit without warning. This was taken on my first attempt. The figure in the foreground is Marian, one of our guides on that occasion. Fellow climber Jim McNeill is only 10 feet behind her but is invisible in the whiteout. Picture taken just above the saddle
