Elephant Head-- South Side

Visible are two routes to the top. The first, and easier route, is to head up the obvious couloir. Higher up, the couloir branches; take the left branch since the other is harder and might even turn Class 5 near the top. The other is the ridge you see on the right. It is the peak's southeast ridge, and you access it from a saddle between the peak and Point 11,904. Wind River Range, WY-- August 2013
