Elferspitz summit panorama to the South, towards the Ortler Group

The weather is fair for a long hike, which is what I'm doing today. The Sesvenna Group isn't all that high, and I'm well below the clouds. Unfortunately, they cover most of the summits of the Ortler Group, the highest in the area, including the Ortler itself, well left of center. Nevertheless, there are patches of sun, shining brightly on the glaciers of Cevedale (3769m) on the far left and of the Hohe Schneide (3434m) on the far right. 21 Aug 2014.
